A favorite Planter's punch from St Barths.  This recipe belongs to my cousin Christian Magras Greaux

  • 1 bottle of Orange Juice
  • 1 bottle og guava juice
  • 1 bottle of pineapple juice
  • 1 bottle of mixed fruit juice
  • Nutmeg
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 can crushed or chunked pineapple
  • 1 bottle marischino cherries
  • 2 tsp Bitters
  • 2 tsp Grenadine (amt based on color)
  • 1 bottle of Light rum

A holiday favorite side dish that is sure to please even the pickiest eater.  Hold the marshmallows!

Potato Mixture

  • 3 Cups Cooked, mashed Sweet Potatoes
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 TBSP Vanilla
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 3 Eggs

Topping

  • 1 Cup Light brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup margarine
  • 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Chopped Pecans

Here's a nice dish for you chicken and mushroom lovers.

  • 5 lbs chicken thighs (and/or breasts)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 soup can of dry or creamy sherry(your choice)
  • 1 small bottle sliced mushrooms
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • Seasoning :  Adobo or your favorite

An island treat that's good for any occasion.  This recipe belongs to none other than my aunt Alicia Vante.

  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 level tablespoons margarine/butter
  • ¾ tsp. Salt
  • 3 flat tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ½ cup water
  • 3 heaping tsp Davis Baking Powder

Both the starter and the bread making portion must be carefully done but the product is well worth it!

Starter

  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 3 TBSP Instant Potatoes
  • 1 Cup Warm Water

Bread

  • 1/3 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Oil
  • 1 TBSP Salt
  • 1 Cup Starter
  • 1 1/2 Cup Warm Water
  • 6 Cups White Lily Bread Flour
