Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients

Here's a tasty side dish that goes as well with your holiday offerings as it does with any dinner party.

  • 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 2 16-oz Cans French Style Green Beans
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce
  • Dash of Pepper
  • 1 Can French Fried Onions
Instructions
  1. Preheat over to 350 degrees.
  2. In 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, combine soup, milk, soy sauce and pepper. 
  3. Stir in green beans and 1/2 can of the onions.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until hot.  Stir.
  5. Top with remaining onions.
  6. Bake for an additional 5 minutes to brown the onions.

 

Hints

  • Other creamed soups work well with this recipe. 
  • 2 9-oz packages of frozen green beans or  1 1/2 lbs fresh green beans also work well with this recipe.
